At Samoon Foundation, we provide free computer education to children, women, and people of all age groups in Uttarakhand who cannot afford it. Through our Samoon Computer Training Institutes (SCTI), we offer practical training in Basic Computer Literacy, Tally with GST, Microsoft 365, AI, video editing, and more, empowering individuals to thrive in today’s digital world. Our centers in Godadhar, Akhori (Ghansali),  Sumari Bhardhar, Tilwara, Rudraprayag,  Sour, Patti – Bharpoor  and Shyampur, Rishikesh are dedicated to bridging the digital divide and ensuring that no one is left behind. In the rapidly evolving digital world, computer education is no longer just a skill; it's a gateway to opportunity. Yet, many individuals, including children, women, and people of all age groups in Uttarakhand, especially from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, lack access to this essential resource. Even those fortunate enough to attend school often find themselves struggling to adapt to the fast-paced digital transformation. In a society increasingly driven by technology, basic computer literacy has become indispensable for success.


At Samoon Foundation, we are committed to empowering children, women, and people of all age groups by providing free computer education to those who cannot afford the fees. Our Samoon Computer Training Institutes (SCTI) serve as beacons of hope, giving individuals the skills they need to succeed in today’s technology-driven world. By focusing on practical, job-ready skills and offering a comprehensive curriculum, we aim to ensure that no one is left behind in the digital age.

Our Centers Across Uttarakhand

We have established multiple Samoon Computer Centers in key locations across Uttarakhand, where children and women can access free, high-quality computer education. Our centers are strategically located to serve the remote and underserved areas of the state, making digital education accessible to all. Currently, our active centers include:

SCTI01 – Samoon Computer Training Center (Godadhar, Akhori, Tehri Garhwal). The first Samoon Computer Training Center (SCTI01) was started on December 24, 2021, in Godadhar, Akhori (Ghansali), Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. This center provides free computer education to students who cannot afford fees, focusing on empowering youth and women through digital skills. So far, over 175 students have benefited from courses like basic computer, Tally, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), typing, video editing, and more. The center is led by Trainer Vikram Shah and supported by Coordinator Vijay Mohan Painuly, with help from local leader Gram Pradhan Anita Devi. This initiative helps students build confidence, gain practical skills, and explore better career opportunities in the digital world.


SCTI02 – Samoon Computer Training Center (Sumari Bhardhar, Tilwara, Rudraprayag). The SCTI02 Center, launched on October 19, 2021, in Sumari Bhardhar, Tilwara (Rudraprayag), is part of Samoon Foundation’s mission to provide free and quality computer education to underserved communities in Uttarakhand. This center was designed to benefit 60 students, equipping them with essential digital skills through a well-rounded curriculum covering basic computing, Microsoft Office, typing, and practical tech tools. The program ran successfully until its scheduled completion on December 07, 2023, marking a significant milestone in the foundation’s efforts to bridge the digital divide. Under the guidance of Trainer Nikita and coordination by Vijay Mohan Painuly, with local support from Gram Pradhan Umed Singh Chauhan, the project created a positive and lasting impact. By focusing on hands-on, practical learning, students not only learned digital tools but also gained confidence and skills to pursue future career opportunities in a technology-driven world.


SCTI03 – Samoon Computer Training Center (Sour, Patti – Bharpoor, Tehri Garhwal). Launched on March 10, 2024, the SCTI03 Center in Sour, Patti – Bharpoor, Tehri Garhwal, is the latest initiative by Samoon Foundation to provide free computer education in remote areas of Uttarakhand. This center serves 30 beneficiaries, offering training in essential computer skills such as MS Office, typing, digital literacy, and more—empowering individuals to thrive in today’s tech-driven world. The center is led by Trainer Vijendra Kumar, with operational support from Program Coordinator Dhirendra Rawat. Together, they ensure a structured, high-quality learning experience that aligns with the foundation’s mission of community upliftment through education. By bridging the digital gap in this rural region, SCTI03 is opening doors to new opportunities, confidence, and self-reliance for the local population.


SCTI04 – Samoon Computer Training Institute, Shyampur (Rishikesh), Uttarakhand The Samoon Foundation proudly inaugurated its fourth and most successful Computer Training Institute (SCTI04) on April 01, 2024, at its Head Office in Shyampur, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. This center has rapidly evolved into a vibrant and continuously expanding hub for digital learning, welcoming a large number of students from various backgrounds. With a strong focus on bridging the digital divide, the institute offers free, practical computer education—including Microsoft Office, Tally with GST, typing, internet tools, and an introduction to AI technologies. Under the expert guidance of Trainer Manoj Kumar Srivastava and the coordination of Komal Chauhan, the center ensures hands-on, high-quality learning in a structured environment. As it continues to grow and empower more individuals every day, SCTI04 stands as a shining example of Samoon Foundation’s mission to uplift communities through digital education and skill development.
