Internship Policy

1. Introduction

Samoon Foundation is committed to nurturing young talent and promoting social responsibility through meaningful internship opportunities. This Internship Policy outlines the structure, objectives, and expectations for students who join Samoon Foundation as interns. The policy aims to create a mutually beneficial relationship, where interns gain practical experience while contributing to the Foundation’s mission.


2. Objectives of the Internship Program

        - Provide students with real-world exposure to social and community development work.

        - Engage interns in projects related to education, skill development, women empowerment, digital inclusion, health, and rural upliftment.

        - Support capacity building among youth and promote civic engagement.


3. Eligibility Criteria

Internships are open to students from recognized academic institutions pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, or equivalent programs. Fresh graduates may also apply subject to project availability.


4. Application Procedure

Interested candidates must submit the following:

        - Duly filled in the Internship Application Form

        - Resume / CV

        - Passport-size photograph

        - College ID or Bonafide Certificate


5. Selection and Placement

Interns will be selected based on alignment between their academic background/interests and available projects. Upon approval, a confirmation letter or email will be issued. A mentor or project supervisor will be assigned to each intern.


6. Internship Domains

Interns may contribute to one or more areas as written in the Internship form.


7. Internship Terms & Conditions

        - Duration: Minimum 2 weeks to 6 months based on project scope and intern availability.

        - Mode: On-site, remote, or hybrid depending on the assignment.

        - Timing: Flexible working hours to accommodate academic schedules.

        - Stipend: No stipend is provided. Travel allowance may be reimbursed for official field visits requested by the Foundation.

        - Accommodation: Interns are responsible for their own lodging unless arranged otherwise.

        - Attendance: Interns must maintain attendance logs and report weekly to assigned mentors.


8. Code of Conduct

        - Interns are expected to always maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

        - Any misconduct, plagiarism, absenteeism, or breach of guidelines may lead to immediate termination of internship.

        - Interns must avoid any activity that could bring disrepute to Samoon Foundation.


9. Certification & Feedback

Interns who successfully complete the program and submit a final report will receive an Internship Completion Certificate. Feedback will be collected from interns to improve future internship opportunities.


10. Disclaimer

The Foundation shall not be liable for any compensation, injury, or loss during the period of internship. Internship is purely voluntary and undertaken at the risk and responsibility of the intern.
