During the nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been reported that the Samoon Foundation provided food supplies and meals to stranded travelers, those in need, impoverished families, saints, and individuals with disabilities at various locations, including Haridwar, Shaundpani, Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, and remote villages in Uttarakhand. The Samoon Foundation’s significant contribution to social welfare is commendable and beneficial to the public. The organization deserves collective recognition and encouragement for its Social welfare activities.

During my visit to the area, I had the opportunity to visit the Samoon Adarsh Vidhyalaya in Osla, operated by the Samoon Foundation. It was encouraging to see that hundreds of students from nearby villages are receiving free, high-quality education there. I praise and appreciate the outstanding social work being done by the Samoon Foundation, particularly its unprecedented efforts in the field of education. I had the opportunity to visit the Samoon Computer Training Center in Sumadi, Rudraprayag, operated by the Samoon Foundation. I am very pleased to learn that, under the guidance of Mr. Vinod Jethuri, the Samoon Foundation has been actively involved for several years in various fields. These include operating free computer training centers for youth, sewing and weaving centers for women’s empowerment, and running the Samoon Adarsh vidhyalaya in remote areas such as Uttarkashi. Additionally, the foundation provides scholarships to extremely poor families selected from various districts in Uttarakhand, supports marriages for daughters from needy families, and offers medical assistance to the poor. I Praise and appreciate the outstanding social work carried out by the Samoon Foundation, particularly its efforts in the field of education.
