Rajkamal who was suffering from cancer was admitted to Dehradun’s Himalayan Hospital, and the doctors said that the results can be tragic if the operation was not performed on time. The cost of the operation was at least INR 250,000 / -. It was impossible for this poor family to arrange this huge amount of money. Rajkumar, a driver by profession and has come back home owing to his condition and illness for the past one year and there was no other source of income in his family. Due to the circumstance, arranging food for his two children, a wife, and an ageing mother in the family has become very difficult.

The Samoon family is constantly working for the service of humanity, with the aim of not losing anyone's precious life due to lack of money. For the treatment of Rajkamal who was suffering from cancer, a cheque for a small amount ofINR 50,000 / - was deposited in the account of Rajkamal by Samoon team member Dhanbir Singh Jethuri and Saroop Singh Pundir along with the Samoon family members and helpers. As a result of the efforts of Saroop Singh Pundir and the Karmat Pradhan of Shyampur, the remaining amount of treatment was paid for with the help of a health care card in the Himalayan Hospital, Dehradun where Rajkamal was admitted and being treated.
