Tree Plantation Campaign – Second Phase
Date: 22 July 2018 (Sunday)
As part of Samoon Foundation's ambitious mission to plant 1,000 trees during the year, the second phase of the plantation campaign was successfully conducted on 22 July 2018 in the villages of Saur and Sakni.
During this phase, Samoon Foundation members, volunteers, and local residents actively participated in planting a large number of saplings with the aim of promoting environmental conservation and increasing green cover in the region. The campaign witnessed enthusiastic community involvement, helping spread awareness about the importance of protecting nature and preserving ecological balance.
The plantation drive was further extended on 23 July 2018 to the Primary School of Saur, Primary School of Sakni, and Government Intermediate College, Munnakhal, where additional saplings were planted. To ensure the long-term protection and healthy growth of the planted trees, tree guards were also installed at various locations.
Through this initiative, Samoon Foundation continued its commitment towards environmental sustainability and inspired local communities, students, and youth to contribute actively to creating a greener and healthier future.
