DATED: 26TH JANUARY 2019 (SATURDAY) We were informed by the Principal of State Primary School, Launga, Jakholi, Rudraprayagthat the 19 students enrolled in their school come from very poor background and are forced to come to school either barefoot or wearing slippers which affects their health in this freezing winter.
So, we provided them with shoes on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day. We are immensely grateful to all the citizens who came forward and helped us in such a great cause.

Shoe Distribution for Students of State Primary School, Launga

On the occasion of Republic Day, Samoon Foundation received information from the Principal of State Primary School, Launga, Jakholi, Rudraprayag, that all 19 students enrolled in the school belonged to economically disadvantaged families. Due to financial hardships, many of the children were attending school barefoot or wearing slippers, which exposed them to the harsh winter conditions and affected their health.
Recognizing their urgent need, Samoon Foundation stepped forward and distributed shoes to all 19 students on Republic Day. A simple pair of shoes brought comfort, protection, and dignity to these children, enabling them to continue their education with greater confidence.
