Appeal For Financial Help To Renovate The House Munni Devi

Munni Devi is a resident of Hitara Village, Post Dharasu, District Uttarkashi, and belongs to a financially underprivileged family. Her husband, Sobat Singh, passed away many years ago. She has two young children who are currently pursuing their education. The family's house is in poor condition, with rainwater leaking through the roof. As a result, the family has been facing significant difficulties, especially during the night, as the leaking roof has made it difficult for them to sleep comfortably and safely.

There is no earning member in the family, nor is there anyone to provide them with financial support. Therefore, the family has appealed to all members of the Samoon Foundation and the general public for any assistance that can be provided according to their capacity.

Financial Assistance for Munni Devi's Family

Munni Devi, a resident of Hitara Village, Post Dharasu, District Uttarkashi, had been facing severe financial hardship following the demise of her husband, Sobat Singh. She was raising her two school-going children without any earning member or regular source of income.
The family's house was in a poor condition, with a leaking roof that had gradually weakened the structure and made it unsafe for the family to live in. Due to their difficult circumstances, the family sought assistance from the Samoon Foundation and the general public.
In response to their appeal, the Samoon Foundation extended financial support to the family. On 6 October 2023, a cheque of ₹11,000 was presented to Babita, the daughter of Munni Devi, to help the family meet their immediate needs and improve their living conditions.

The Foundation expressed its gratitude to all donors whose contributions made the assistance possible and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting families facing hardship.


Additional Assistance Provided to Munni Devi's Family

On 25 October 2023, the Sampoorn Foundation provided an additional financial assistance amount of ₹4,000 to Kumari Babita to help her family carry out essential repairs to their house.
Earlier, on 6 October 2023, the Foundation had extended support of ₹11,000 to Munni Devi's family through her daughter, Babita. Munni Devi, a resident of Hitara Village, Post Dharasu, District Uttarkashi, had been facing severe financial hardship following the death of her husband, Sobat Singh. She was raising her two children, who were still pursuing their education, without any stable source of income.
The family's house had been in poor condition, with a leaking roof that had made living conditions difficult and unsafe, especially during the night. Recognizing their struggle, the Samoon Foundation stepped forward to provide financial support for the family's immediate needs and home repairs.

This small effort helped bring relief and encouragement to the family. The Foundation expressed its gratitude to all donors and supporters whose contributions made this assistance possible and reaffirmed its commitment to serving families in need.
