Diwali, lovingly known as the festival of lights and joy, is a Valued celebration in every Indian home. However, some of us face the harsh reality of not having enough for a simple meal, making it difficult for us to join the festivities.

Under this effort, underprivileged families receive heartfelt support in the form of new clothes, sweets, firecrackers, lamps, oil, wicks, and other essential items. Samoon Foundation successfully carried out its Diwali Kit Distribution Program 2023, bringing festive joy to underprivileged families in and around Rishikesh. Sweets, new clothes, crackers, and pooja items were distributed to ensure that everyone could celebrate the festival of lights with happiness and dignity. The team engaged with families, spreading smiles and creating a sense of togetherness.
Continuing its annual tradition, Samoon Foundation once again celebrated the Festival of Lights by distributing Diwali kits on 30th November 2024 across different areas of Rishikesh. Each kit included sweets, new clothes, crackers, and pooja essentials, helping underprivileged families celebrate Diwali with joy. The team’s efforts focused on reaching those who are often left out of festive celebrations and making sure no home remained without light and happiness.
