Hari Mohan Kumar, son of Shri Bal Prasad, a resident of Village - Kandiyal, Purola, District - Uttarkashi, is battling a very serious illness. He is the only son of his parents and comes from an extremely poor family. The financial condition of the family is utterly miserable. Suffering from kidney disease for the last 2 years, Hari Mohan is keeping himself alive through regular dialysis. The doctor has advised a kidney transplant. His pre-transplant medical examinations are currently underway, and the suffering family has appealed to all donors for cooperation.
Hari Mohan has been undergoing medical evaluations at Himalayan Hospital Jolly Grant, Dehradun. The total cost of the kidney transplant is ₹7.50 lakh. Gathering such a large sum of money is not easy for this family, which is why an appeal has been made to all respected donors. Hari Mohan's father, Shri Bal Prasad, is donating one of his kidneys to his son. Bal Prasad works as a daily wage laborer and is the sole breadwinner of the family. He had hoped that his son would be the support of his old age, but today a situation has arisen where he himself has become unemployed. There is no other source of income, and when he donates his kidney to his son, he too will have to remain hospitalized, which will severely worsen their financial condition. The kidney transplant procedure has been scheduled for this month, i.e., December 2022.
