Prem Lal ji, a resident of Village - Karkhedi, Ghansali, Tehri Garhwal, used to do minor jobs in Delhi and worked there for a long time. However, when his health deteriorated, he left everything behind and returned to his village, where he started making a living by working as a daily wage laborer. But due to a prolonged illness, he is now unable to provide for his family and his four minor children.

The children are still minors and there is no breadwinner in the house. Prem Lal ji's health is also worsening day by day, which is why he has pleaded to the Samoon Foundation for help. It is said that feeding a hungry person is a highly meritorious deed, but it is even more rewarding to teach them how to earn their own bread. If you feed someone, their stomach will be full for a single day, but if you teach them how to earn a living, they can feed themselves for a lifetime. Keeping this in mind, the Samoon Foundation has decided to open a grocery (kirana) shop for Prem Lal ji in his village itself, so that he can sustain his family with whatever income is generated from the shop. His family members can also support him in running this business.
