While we enjoy the comfort of our warm clothes at home in the chilling cold of December and January, there are people forced to spend nights under the open sky. Sadly, every year, many lives, especially those of children and women, are lost due to the freezing weather.
The Samoon Foundation has been distributing blankets and warm clothes to the needy during the freezing weather of December & January for the last 8 years. This year also we will be distrusting warm clothes and blankets to the needy.

Winter Relief Initiative by Samoon Foundation
For the last eight years, the Samoon Foundation had been distributing blankets and warm clothes to needy people during the freezing weather of December and January. The initiative aimed to provide warmth and support to those facing harsh winter conditions.
On January 6, 2025, the foundation distributed free warm sweaters to children at the Anganwadi Center, Sera Village, marking the 46th school reached under this initiative. The effort was intended to protect children from the cold and support their continued education in remote and under-resourced areas.
Anganwadi workers, teachers, and parents appreciated the initiative for improving children's comfort and helping them focus better on their studies. J. P. Chamoli participated in the event and reaffirmed the foundation's commitment to education and the holistic development of children.
