Everything is going smoothly until about four months ago, when 16-year-old Bindi's health begins to deteriorate. After medical examinations, she is diagnosed with blood cancer and has been battling this life-threatening disease for the past several months. She is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS Rishikesh.

As Bindi's mother has to stay back in the village to take care of the family's buffalo and manage household responsibilities, Bindi is receiving treatment in Rishikesh with the support of her aunt. Through a well-wisher, the family learns about Samoon Foundation and submits an application seeking assistance. Responding promptly, the Samoon team visits Bindi at the hospital, meets with her, and assures the family of all possible support.

Bindi, daughter of Late Nandan Singh, belongs to Andrapa village, Post Office Andrapa, Gairsain, District Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Although her treatment expenses are being covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the family is struggling to bear the additional costs of travel between Gairsain and Rishikesh, accommodation, food, medicines, and other daily necessities. With limited income and mounting expenses, the family is finding it increasingly difficult to manage.

Samoon Foundation humbly appeals to all kind-hearted and capable individuals to come forward and support Bindi during this challenging time. For more information, you may speak directly with the family at +91 96340 84582.

Even if you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this appeal and giving others an opportunity to support Bindi and her family.
