In memory of the immortal martyr Kunwar Singh Kandari, who made the supreme sacrifice while protecting the motherland, the inauguration ceremony of the Samoon Sewing and Knitting Training Center - Lwah, Chamoli was successfully held yesterday, 7 February 2021. The center was inaugurated at the lotus hands of the renowned environmentalist Jagat Singh "Junglee" Ji and presided over by the respected member, Mr. Vijay Mohan Painuly Ji.
The local women (Matrashakti) and villagers extended a beautifully warm welcome to the team, for which we express our heartfelt gratitude to all of them. The women and young girls expressed great enthusiasm and happiness about how this sewing and knitting training center would benefit them.
We hope that through this center, a maximum number of women and girls will learn sewing, become self-reliant, and reap its benefits.
