About SCTI05

The Samoon Computer Training Institute (SCTI05) is the fifth computer education centre of Samoon Foundation, set up at Kotsar village in Pauri Garhwal district. The institute has been established to address the lack of access to computer education in rural areas, where many students are eager to learn but have limited opportunities.

Through SCTI05, rural students and youth will receive structured computer training that helps them build confidence, improve digital literacy, and prepare for future academic and employment opportunities.

Samoon Foundation’s Experience in Computer Education

Samoon Foundation has already established four Samoon Computer Training Institutes (SCTIs) across Uttarakhand.

  • Two centres have successfully completed their training programs

  • Two centres are currently active and running at:

    • Shyampur Fatak, Rishikesh (SCTI04)

    • Godadhar, Akhori Gyarah Gaon, Hindaw (SCTI02)

Through these centres, many students have already learned basic computer skills, Tally, and practical digital applications. Students are trained step by step, starting from basic computer knowledge and progressing to advanced levels.

Training Approach

At SCTI05, students will receive training in:

  • Basic computer operations

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Internet usage and digital literacy

  • Tally and basic accounting software

  • Advanced computer applications

  • Introduction to new software tools

  • Practical use of AI tools and digital editing basics

The focus is on hands-on learning, ensuring that students not only understand concepts but can also apply them confidently in real-life situations.

Community Support

SCTI05 is supported by Pravasi Uttarakhandi Mr. Aman Bisht, reflecting a strong commitment to education and skill development in his native region. Samoon Foundation will manage academic planning, training quality, certification, and regular monitoring, based on its experience of running successful computer training centres in rural Uttarakhand.
