Women Empowerment & Skill Development
We believe in equipping rural women with the practical, income-generating skills they need to achieve economic independence and uplift their communities. Our vocational training initiatives focus on:
Vocational Training: Providing comprehensive 6-month tailoring and sewing courses tailored for rural women.
Resilience & Continuity: Overcoming COVID-19 closures by successfully shifting our training operations to a new center in Rumdhar Tehri Garhwal to ensure uninterrupted learning.
Direct Impact: Successfully training and empowering over 25 girls with new technical skills, paving the way for self-employment and financial freedom.
In Tudangi Devprayag, after the completion of the course of sewing training for rural ladies for 6 months, the tailoring workshop was stopped due to corona, but from 1st December 2020, the foundation decided to shift the sewing training center to Rumdhar Tehri Garhwal, Duli. More than 25 girls were benefitted with new skills through Samoon.
