Support To Reconstruct The Burnt House Of Poor Families

On January 3, 2023, a massive fire broke out in Pindki village of the Barkot region, reducing the house of Shri Jai Singh, Naresh Singh, and Jaspal Singh to ashes. Three families used to reside in this house. Currently, the financial condition of these families has become extremely miserable. These families are left with no proper shelter to live in and no proper arrangements for food. Such a situation has arisen that darkness has loomed before their eyes, leaving them clueless about how to survive moving forward. We appeal to all donors to provide financial assistance to this fire-affected family.

It is said that to live daily life, three things are absolutely essential: food, clothing, and shelter (roti, kapda, aur makaan). If even one of these is missing, life becomes incredibly difficult. A person's foremost priority is a place to live; if there is a roof over their head, they can somehow manage to earn a meal. But if that very shelter is gone, where is a person supposed to go? A similar tragic incident has come to light in the Uttarkashi district.

On January 3, 2023, a massive fire broke out in Pindki village of the Barkot region, reducing the house of Shri Jai Singh, Naresh Singh, and Jaspal Singh to ashes. Such a situation has arisen that darkness has loomed before their eyes, leaving them clueless about how to survive moving forward.

We appeal to all donors to provide financial assistance to this fire-affected family so that their children are not deprived of education and they can build a home for themselves. It is my special request to everyone to please step forward to financially help this family and be a part of this noble deed.

You can transfer your contribution to the Samoon account so that this amount can reach them and provide them with financial aid.

Fire Relief Assistance – Uttarkashi

Date: 2nd March 2023

On 2nd March 2023, the Samoon Foundation provided financial assistance of ₹5,100 through a cheque to a fire-affected family in Uttarkashi to help them purchase essential household utensils and ration.

Earlier, on 3rd January 2023, a devastating fire had broken out in Pindki village, Barkot, Uttarkashi, completely destroying the homes of Shri Jai Singh, Shri Naresh Singh, and Shri Jaspal Singh. The incident had left the families homeless and resulted in the loss of all their belongings, causing severe financial hardship.

The financial assistance was made possible through donations received from members of the Samoon Family and was presented by Mrs. Sita Payal, a member of the Samoon Foundation. This timely support provided immediate relief to the affected family and helped them purchase essential household items as they began rebuilding their lives after the tragedy.
