TOILET CONSTRUCTION AT NASIRPUR GOVERNMENT PRIMARY SCHOOL

At Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya,  Nasirpur (Ghaziabad), students face daily challenges due to broken toilets and unsafe, unhygienic classrooms. The lack of basic sanitation not only affects health but also discourages young children—especially girls—from attending school. To change this, Samoon Foundation is stepping forward to support the construction of new toilets, repair damaged flooring, and improve sanitation by installing durable tiles. This small yet vital step will ensure a safe, clean, and respectful learning environment. This project isn’t just about construction—it’s about restoring dignity, supporting education, and giving children a safer space to grow and learn with pride.

Support for Sanitation Facilities at Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Naseerpur (Ghaziabad)

Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Naseerpur (Ghaziabad) is currently struggling with the absence of basic sanitation facilities. The existing toilets are broken and unusable, and the floors are damaged, making the school environment unsafe and unhygienic for students. This situation is especially concerning for young girls, who often hesitate to attend school due to the lack of proper facilities.

Understanding the seriousness of the issue, the school administration has appealed to Samoon Foundation for help. The school has requested support for the construction of new functional toilets, repair of broken floors, and installation of tiles to improve cleanliness and durability.

This project is not just about building toilets — it’s about restoring safety, dignity, and confidence to students. A clean and well-maintained school environment encourages better attendance, improves focus in class, and instills a stronger sense of pride among students.

Through this initiative, Samoon Foundation aims to provide these children with the basic facilities they deserve, so they can study in a healthy, respectful, and encouraging environment. This effort will make a meaningful difference in their daily school experience and help them pursue education with dignity and hope.

Samoon Foundation is proud to announce the progress of its very first development project in Uttar Pradesh, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s journey. In partnership under a CSR initiative, we have signed an MoU for the construction of toilets and infrastructure improvement at Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Nasirpur, located in Rakesh Marg, Ghaziabad. This initiative was launched at the request of the school management, who highlighted the urgent need for clean and functional sanitation facilities. As part of this project, four new toilets, a washroom, and complete tiling work are being constructed to ensure a safe, hygienic, and dignified environment for young students. With the CSR partner’s preference to work near their base in Noida, this effort not only supports the local community but also marks the beginning of Samoon Foundation’s work outside the hills of Uttarakhand. We are pleased to share that 50% of the work has already been completed, reflecting strong on-ground progress and a shared commitment to creating healthier learning spaces for children. This project reflects how powerful collaborations can directly uplift education environments and bring lasting impact to those who need it most.

Samoon Foundation is proud to share that the ongoing construction work at Government Primary School, Nasirpur (Rakesh Marg, Ghaziabad) is now reaching its final stage. The development of four toilets, a washroom, and ground leveling in the school premises is nearly 75% complete. We believe that quality education is shaped not only by books but also by the respectful and inspiring spaces in which children learn and grow. This marks our second project in Uttar Pradesh, and we are pleased to see our efforts bringing real, positive change at the grassroots level. The construction work is progressing swiftly with a strong focus on quality and transparency, and we look forward to seeing the school offer improved facilities to its students very soon.
