Just like every year, on the auspicious occasion of the Harela festival, a tree plantation drive was organized by the Samoon Family this year as well. This plantation program was inaugurated by the respected Mrs. #Devki_Bhandari Ji, who had made the entire state proud last year during the COVID pandemic by donating a generous amount of #Ten_Lakh rupees to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. Mother Devki Bhandari, a great personality blessed with such a philanthropic mindset, was honored by presenting her with a ceremonial shawl.
Various teams of the #Samoon_Foundation will be planting trees at different locations for the next month, while simultaneously raising awareness among people regarding environmental conservation. Let us come together to protect the environment and provide a #Samoon (token/gift) of a clean atmosphere for the coming generations to live in.
On 16 July 2021, the Samoon Foundation celebrated the folk festival of Harela by organizing its annual tree plantation drive to promote environmental conservation. The program was inaugurated by Mrs. Devki Bhandari, who had earned widespread respect for her generous contribution of ₹10 lakh to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund during the COVID-19 pandemic. In recognition of her remarkable philanthropic spirit, she was honored with a ceremonial shawl.
Following the inauguration, various teams of the Samoon Foundation carried out tree plantation drives at different locations over the following weeks while spreading awareness about the importance of protecting the environment. The initiative reflected the Foundation's commitment to creating a cleaner, greener, and healthier future for generations to come.
