Urgent Help Request To Rebuild Diwan's Collapsing Home

In the remote village of Pipola Rangda (Sain), Tehri Garhwal, lives the family of Diwan Singh — battling extreme poverty and living in a house on the verge of collapse. The roof has already caved in from the back, the walls and stairs are cracked, and stones frequently fall from above, putting all seven family members in constant danger. Among them is a 10-year-old mentally challenged son who needs special care, and an elderly mother who recently fractured her hand after falling from the broken stairs.Diwan Singh and his wife work as daily wage laborers, earning just enough to feed their family. Medical treatment, school needs, and even basic safety remain out of reach. Despite all hardships, the family continues with hope and dignity. This project aims to repair their home — not just to fix walls and roofs, but to give a vulnerable family the safety and stability they desperately deserve.

In the quiet village of Pipola Rangda (Sain), Jakhnidhar, Tehri Garhwal, lives the family of Mr. Diwan Singh, who is forced to endure an extremely difficult life due to extreme poverty. The walls, roof, and stairs of Diwan Singh’s house are severely damaged. The back portion of the roof collapsed last year, and with the onset of the monsoon, the entire house is at risk of falling down completely.

There are seven members in Mr. Diwan Singh’s family — his wife, an elderly mother, and four children, including two daughters and two sons. One of the sons, around 10 years old, is mentally challenged and requires special care. All family members are forced to live under this broken roof. Stones frequently fall from the ceiling, posing a constant risk of a tragic accident. Recently, the elderly mother fell while climbing down the broken stairs and fractured her arm — a treatment this impoverished family is unable to afford.

Diwan Singh and his wife work as daily wage laborers, trying their best to sustain their family. Their income is so limited that even meeting basic needs like food and medicine is a major challenge. In such conditions, repairing their house is far beyond their means. They have no permanent job or support system — only hard work, struggle, and dedication toward their family.

Mr. Diwan Singh has appealed to Samoon Foundation for help so that the repair of his dilapidated house can be made possible and his family can live under a safe roof, protected from any mishap. This is not just about rebuilding a house — it is about rebuilding the future of a family. The Samoon family also appeals to all its well-wishers and capable members to come forward and support this family in need.
