Emergency Light Distribution in Kainturi Village by Samoon Foundation

Under the leadership of Shri Manoj Bisht, the Samoon Foundation team visited Kainturi village in Chamoli district on 24 September 2025, one of the areas most affected by the recent disaster. During this visit, emergency lights were distributed to affected families to support them during this difficult time.

While interacting with villagers, the Samoon team prepared a list of the most urgently needed items. Among all necessities, emergency lights were identified as the most critical requirement. Villagers shared that proper lighting during nighttime is essential to identify potential dangers in advance and remain alert, especially in disaster-prone conditions.

Responding immediately to this need, Samoon Foundation distributed emergency lights to the affected families on the same day and assured them of continued support in the future.

This humanitarian effort was made possible through the collective contribution of Samoon family members and generous donors. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood with these families.
