Government Primary School, Nasirpur, was facing major sanitation problems due to damaged toilets and broken flooring. The school environment had become unsafe and uncomfortable for children, especially young girls. At the request of the school administration, Samoon Foundation supported the construction of four new toilets, a washroom, flooring repair, tiling work, plumbing, electrical installations, and interlocking across the school campus.

The work was completed as per the approved quotation and MoU, ensuring proper quality and safety standards. The upgraded facilities have created a clean, hygienic, and child-friendly environment, encouraging better attendance and improving student confidence.

  • Beneficiaries:

    About 120 students of Government Primary School, Nasirpur, including both boys and girls, have benefited from the improved sanitation facilities. Teachers and the entire school community also benefit from the cleaner and safer environment created through this project.

  • Work Completed at the School:

    Construction of four toilets with proper ventilation

    • Filling and leveling of the plinth area
    • Tile work inside toilets and around the wash area
    • Installation of sanitary fittings and plumbing
    • Fixing ceramic overhead tanks for water storage
    • Electrical wiring and lights in the washroom area
    • Interlocking tile work across 2,810 sq. ft.
    • Repair and cleaning of damaged flooring

    All work was done according to the approved quotation and the signed MoU between Samoon Foundation and the contractor.

    • Students now have clean and safe toilets for daily use
    • Girls feel more comfortable and confident attending school
