 11 Skill Centres Established

Fully functional training centres with trained instructors.

 410 Women Skilled

Women from remote villages, economically poor families, single mothers, widows, and youth.

 70–90 Women Started Earning

Some started home-based tailoring, some employed in boutiques, and some launched micro-enterprises.

 Increased Household Income

Rs. 2,000–4,000 extra monthly income for many families.

    Success Story:
    A widow from Shyampur Rishikesh now earns Rs. 6,000–7,000 per month stitching daily-wear clothes.

  • Sustainability Plan:
    • Provide continuous advanced training.
    • Create micro-enterprise groups in each centre.
    • Facilitate marketing linkages for stitched products.
    • Start production units for school uniforms and woolen items.
    • Expand the SSDC model to 10 more villages in the next 2 years.
