The main aim of SCTI04 is to make digital education accessible to everyone especially those who cannot afford costly private courses.

We focus on providing quality computer training completely free every month, with only a one-time registration charge to maintain resources and ensure continuity.

    Our key objectives are:

    • To build strong digital and computer skills among students and youth.
    • To train learners in Office 365 tools, Canva, Tally with GST, and AI basics.
    • To guide students towards career development and employment opportunities.
    • To create a confident, skilled, and self-reliant community through education.
  • Current Status:

The Samoon Computer Training Institute (SCTI04) is actively running at the Samoon Foundation Head Office in Shyampur, Rishikesh.

Currently, more than 250+ students are enrolled and receiving free monthly computer training in different batches.

All students get hands-on practice in computer labs under the supervision of experienced trainers. The training sessions are interactive, simple to understand, and designed for practical use.

In between regular classes, mentorship sessions are organized where experts and professionals visit the center to guide students about future career paths, interview preparation, and professional growth.

  • Activities:
    1. Office 365 Training: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive – full practical learning for office and job use.
    2. Canva Design Classes: Basic graphic design and presentation-making for beginners.
    3. Tally with GST (Advanced Level): Accounting training with official Tally company certification.
    4. AI Basics: Introduction to tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to improve learning and creativity.
    5. Typing Practice: Regular speed and accuracy improvement sessions.
    6. Internet & Email Skills: Online form filling, digital communication, and daily computer use.
    7. Guidance Mentorship: Career counseling and motivational talks by invited mentors.
  • Not Available:

The center supports students, youth, homemakers, and job seekers from Shyampur, Rishikesh, and surrounding areas. Many of them belong to low-income families who cannot afford computer education elsewhere.

Through this initiative, every learner gets a fair chance to study, learn digital tools, and move toward a better future without financial burden.

  • Challenges:
      1. Increasing number of students with limited computers.
      2. Occasional electricity interruptions affecting class hours.
      3. Need for more systems and updated software.
      4. Continuous funding required to support free training programs.
    1. Despite these challenges, the dedication of the Samoon Foundation team keeps the center active and growing each month.
  • Visual Updates:
  • Photographs of training sessions, classroom activities, mentorship events, and student achievements are regularly documented.
These visuals showcase the real impact of SCTI04 and the positive transformation in learners’ lives.
